My 77 not calibrated and the out of box settings for ISF have not been bad. I will switch to dark room on occasion as well. It has looked good as well at night no lights. I watched a YouTube video about using settings that are total taboo by the calibrator followers but I must admit it seems to look really really dang good to my eyes. I guess I'll have to try swapping HDMI inputs and see if it's specific to HDMI 2 or the Apple TV 4K. I've mostly been using the HBO Max app but have seen it on the Plex app streaming content within the home network. You really notice it with closed captions on. In fact, if I play a few seconds of any content on the CC and then switch to Apple TV 4K, it starts to play the content fine but in a few minutes, the sound and the picture will be a second or two out of sync. The lip synching problems don't occur with the Tivo or the CC at all. Tivo Mini on HDMI 1, Apple TV 4K on HDMI 2 and CC with Google TV on HDMI 3. Wasn't sure if it's because of the Apple TV or the CX. My 48-inch CX purchased in June has lip synching problems with my recently acquired 2021 Apple TV 4K
